Party poker review.

The lobby, gives you all the information you would expect. How many players are logged on and what tournaments there are. There are links to the cashier site which can be frustratingly slow at times. The screen is divided into too many sections and is trying too hard to look good. The screen has unnecessary scroll bars and the tournament information box is hard to follow. They have great support which is only one click away. You can also contact them via telephone if you wish to speak to them. They have a section with frequently asked questions so don’t forget to read it before contacting them. They have all the limit/ no limit tables you would expect. With blinds ranging from $0.50/$1.00 to $100/$200. They offer the biggest daily tournament with the biggest prizes. They also have the Monster which has the biggest prize pool in online poker history and what’s more it’s free to enter. They calls themselves the worlds largest poker room and it is a title no one can take away from them. They always have more than 30 000 players on line and have tournament with more then 10 000 people in them. Party Poker offer 20% of your first deposit up to $100. They have by far the biggest number of players and the best tournament. With stats like that they don't need great sign up bonuses. They also have a $50 minimum deposit which is a bit of a let down for they less serious poker player. Click on the banner above to start playing

Poker hands 10-6.

10. High Card
Five unrelated cards which do not form any of the hands below. The highest card is then declared, so, A-10-9-4-3 is called “ace high”. If two or more players have the same high card then the second card is compared to see which one is higher. If that’s the same, then the third and so on.

9. Pair
A pair is two cards with the same index, three other unrelated cards make up the rest of the hand. If two or more players have the same pair then the highest unrelated card wins. If that is the same it’s the next highest card. Then finally the winner will be the player with the highest low card.

8. Two Pairs
Two pairs are when you have two different pair in the one hand. For example 2-2-10-10-A is a hand with two pairs, the two pairs are of different index otherwise you would have four of a kind, there is one card left over and this makes up the five. If two or more players have two pairs then it is the highest pair that wins. If this pair is the same then the highest second pair wins. And if that pair is the same then it is the highest fifth card that wins.

7. Three of a Kind
Three cards of the same index plus two other cards. This is also called “trips”. If two or more players have trips then the hand with the highest trips wins if the trips are the same then the highest card of the remaining two wins. If that is the same then the highest fifth card wins.

6. Straight
Five cards of mixed suits in sequence for example 4- 5- 6- 7- 8. If two or more players have a straight then the player with the highest top card wins. An ace can count high or low in a straight, but you can’t go over the top. So 10-J-Q-K-A and A-2-3-4-5 are straights, but Q-K-A-2-3 is not.
